Good idea...however, just today we saw a program showing nursing homes which are "properly disposing" all the unused medications by popping them out of their little "bubble" packaging and FLUSHING THEM DOWN THE TOILET! Can you imagine the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly effect this practice has on the ground water? (Not very green, is it!)
I think the program was "20/20" but am not sure...it was just today. I hope you saw it or can find it. What a shame, also, that so many people cannot afford the meds they need, yet many of these are simply flushed away!
