yesterday a really good frind of ours was murdered by an ex boyfriend
hae was married to her once but the marrage was anoled but the last 2 weeks it looked like they might get back together. then he went nuts hes started fighting with the womens 14 year old daughter he had a knife with him the mother stepted in to protect her daughter.
the daughter ran next door and used their phone to call 911.
she was stabed several times and was pronanced dead at the seen.
she lived about 8 houses to the west and her ex boy friend lived about 6 houses to the south of us. the found him sitting in his front yard just waiting for the police to come and get him.
the mother was always doing volenteer work both in church and school and was liked by everyone. the man was well liked as well but no one knew what had happened the man broke in to the house and a mother did what what any mother of a 14 year old daughter. everyone was shocked when they fond out.
the mother was a single parent
it turns out that he was jelious because she had broken off the relationship and started seeing some one else.
the word is that he is just sitting in his cell and crying all the time.
many local TV and news papers have been doing interviews but I wish to not give any comments because I wwould rather stay nutural. and what could I say that would help.

more information has come out. it seems that he was about ready to loose his house and his car and his sister lived with him and then something just finally snapped and my guess is that the thing was maybe he thought the woman he murdered had caused his problem and went to get some money from her. all he saw was red. on the way back to his house he realized what he had done and walked to his house to wait the police. I also understand that in his jail cell he does nothing but cry. I read some of the comments that people left on a TV web sight, several had wanted to get a linch mob and hang him and save a ton of money. others where offering prayers to the family for their loss. I really feel for the mans sister she is the one that will have to go through most of the suffering.

When you hurt the ones you profess to love, then, what is this thing you call Love ? For so many years I have seen Love used as a poor excuse for bad behavior. I have seen people call others their Friends, but leave off the list the people they profess to love! Are the Churches, the Schools, and others unaware of the disconnect between the word Love, and how people think of it? What is most painful are the Children caught in the cross fire. I too will add a Prayer. Art
