insurance and medicare

ok.......now i get to show everyone how stupid i am at some things!

i am turning 65 in april and i do not know a thing about medicare or plan a or plan b or whatever! i will need additional insurance, right?well,what is a good, inexpensive company?

we live on a very limited income and and i keep getting junk mail from everyone and their uncle about insurance programs for those on medicare??? can anyone give me some info or suggestions?
