OK, this is a starting point for a journal.

Spotted Dog Dog Farm

My wife, daughter and I have five horses -- a registered 16.2 Appendix Quarterhorse who used to jump and do dressage but who is now retired; an unregistered 15.1 Quarterhorse who events and does dressage; a 14.2 Arab-Quarter cross cowpony who mostly does trails and carries visitors’ kids around these days; a lame 16.3 Thoroughbred who is retired; and a big, strapping 16.2 Thoroughbred eventer/dressage horse. All are geldings -- all are between 16 and 26. We have 15 acres outside Tallahassee, FL.
