Let The pharmaceutical companies write the new medicare laws. Emphasize how much money can be made. Let each lawmaker know about kickbacks from Big Pharm and the insurance companies.

The pharmaceutical companies and the insurance companies now control the Congress and write the laws for Medicare. Have we forgotten 2003 and the farce of how laws are written.
P.S. AARP did quite well for their insurance companies.

Ridiculous it is....... Congress is so busy 'Bush bashing', 'Dem bashing', 'Repub bashing', and 'pork barrelling' and 'over sighting' that they have no time to pay any attention....... You could try knocking them in the head with a knuckle to get their attention, but I think they are so far gone they can't come back to reality..... lost in that smokey haze of a 'Haight & Ashbury" environment..... Medicare oversite of billings was supposed to be one out of 3 billings or more and yet less than 2% of billings are being reviewed for accuracy and authenticity. Just one of abundant problems with a program that by all rights should be a leading and example setting program of "government in action"... and frightening to think that UHC is being pushed with the idea that it will function as well as Medicare........

Perhaps the recommendation of my local newspaper is correct, Obama for the Democratic nominee and McCain for Republican. But perhaps that should be taken one step further and have one the President and the other the Vice President, formerly conflicting parties that now would be on the same TEAM and need to WORK TOGETHER FOR THE COMMON GOOD!..... I know, in my dreams............. sigggghhhhhhhhh!!!!
