As you may know, we're in the process of gathering individuals to form teams as part of the preparation for the introduction of the AARP Fat to Fit Community Challenge, scheduled to begin late July or early August. But whenever it begins (schedules sometimes slip), I hope you'll join and even be captain of a team.

Best.

Hi Nydia,

Welcome! You are correct when you say that volunteering is rewarding. It is impossible to share your gifts with others, without receiving a gift of love and sharing in return. As a certified Hospice volunteer I have a written a journal titled "The Happy Hospice Worker" you might find interesting.

I also love music and dance. My first journal entry was titled, "The Dancer."

I am 62 yr. too, and I was retired and traveled with my hubby in an RV for 3 years. I just started a new job for the medical insurance. I am looking forward to my "real retirement," and back to volunteering. LOL
Have a Great Day! Carol
