Harley & Daisy ~ Congratulations! Your profile is very interesting and enjoyable! My, what a 'tall, dark, and handsome' guy you are, Harley. Cheers, Anna
I congratulate you for fostering... Beautiful dog.
My daughter got 2 (brother & sister) chocolate labs and they are great dogs - but being as they are young, there is a lot of training necessary and my daughter just bought a new house (need I say more regarding the wall chewing, etc.). My daughter and her husband are such neat and clean freaks, I couldn't believe they got 2 pups, let alone 1. But they do enjoy them. They are so beautiful and friendly. My granddaughter, who is 8, goes into their cages with them. She adores them. The pups are so identical, their cages need to have different color blankets. It's really cute to see. Again, I think it's great that you foster. It's a good idea, but I'd think it would be hard to give him up. I couldn't do it. You have to be some special person--REALLY SPECIAL Judy
Hello Maggie,
I wanted try to post a comment to your picture. I'm not sure why AARP does not allow you to post a comment? I use XP Home OS and the IE7 Browser. The problem is AARP does not recognize all OSs and Browsers. Let us know when they fix your problem. That Harley is a big, black Dog.
Chrystie...your special soulmate pup is out there just waiting for you to arrive! What a great day that will be for both of you!
Happy to hear that you might consider fostering. The need is so great and the rewards are many. My only problem with Harley is attachment. I love this big lug so much, he is such a delight, I know it will be hard to give him up. But then I think of him bringing joy to another family, and knowing that I have my other two forever, makes it workable and worth it.

I love the photo of Harley! He's seems to be a very happy dog, and a beautiful Lab as well. While I miss mine terribly, I'm looking forward to getting a new one again, soon. I checked out your links and am giving more thought to fostering the many without homes. Like you, its upsetting to me knowing how little of a chance pets have when left at shelters absent of no-kill policies. A real tragedy
