Hello...My name is Carol. I'm 52 yrs. old and happily married. I was never able to have children of my own, but I do have 2 step sons,Tim Jr. and Robert, 1 step daughter, Ashley, and 8 step grand children,(5 boys and 3 girls). My husband and & I raise our one grand-daughter, Larissa. Eventhough they are all steps, I love them just as much as I would my own, (if I could've had my own). So... Whenever I write someone about them, I usually address them as my own. I do not call them my steps. They are all, the light of my life. I also have 3 chihuahua's,(Molly, Buddy and Furbie),2 beagles,(Shadow and Ginger), and some cats & kittens, (which we are trying to find good homes for).

Interests:

singing karoake, dancing, dining out, going to the movies, bike riding, horseback riding, photography, flee marketing, sewing, cooking/baking, studying American Indians, Old cars, working on vehicles(mechanics and auto body work), spending time with family and friends, boating, fishing, camping, collecting antiques and all types of collectables, and I'd like to start traveling, to get to know the world better. And, I love making new friends.

I BELIEVE IN THE FLOWERS AND THIER GLORIOUS INDIFFERENCE TO THE CHANGES OF THE MORROW.

I BIELIEVE IN THE BIRDS, AND THIER IMPLICIT TRUST IN THE LOVING PROVIDENCE THAT FEEDS THEM.

I BELIEVE IN THE PRAYER-CHANTING BROOKS,AS THEY MURMUR A SWEET HOPE OF FINDING THE FAR DISTANT SEA TO WHICH THEY PATIENTLY RUN.

I BELIEVE IN THE WHISPERING WINDS, FOR THEY TEACH ME TO LISTEN TO THE SMALL VOICE WITHIN MY FEVERISH SOUL.

I BELIEVE IN THE VAGRANT CLOUDS, AS THEY REMIND ME THAT LIFE, LIKE A SUMMER DAY, MUST HAVE SOME DARKNESS TO REVEAL IT"S HIDDEN MEANING.

I BELIEVE IN THE SOFT-SPEAKING RAINS, ACCENTED WITH WARM TEARS, TELLING ME THAT NOTHING WILL GROW, SAVE IT TO BE FERTILIZED WITH TEARS.

I BELIEVE IN THE GOLGEN HUSH OF THE SUNSETS, REFLECTING A MOMENTARY GLORY OF THAT GREAT WORLD BEYOND MY LITTLE HORIZON.

I BELIEVE IN THE SOFT-FALLING DEW, REVEALING THE INFINITE SPRING OF LIVING WATERS FOR EVERYTHING PARCHED AND WITHERED.

I BELIEVE IN THE HOLINESS OF TWILIGHT, AS IT GIVES ME SENSE OF PRESENCE OF GOD, AND I KNOW I AM NOT ALONE. AND WHATEVER ELSE I BELIEVE IS ENSHRINED IN THOSE ABIDING FEELINGS THAT LIE TOO DEEP FOR WORDS.
