Ours faired well in our moves...our Grandmother clock didn't do so well, though. She's missing some fancy woodwork on the bottom, but you wouldn't know it if you didn't see her when it was there! :P Hubby really wants to get rid of the shrunk, since it takes up so much room, but I love it. We also have a huge German dinning room table and chairs...all covered and stored in the basement for many years, now! It takes up too much room as well, and since we aren't much for sitting down at a table to eat, not having it displayed is okay with me!

Yes Cappy, I bought that in 1984 when stationed there, and I tell you....if you look at it hard or walk by it to fast it will fall over. I don't think it will take another move. I've enjoyed it over the years
