About Me

I live in Englewood FL with my best bud, Maggie and my son's dog Karl is probably not going to leave... So, it's me and my dogs. My husband passed away in Dec. 2004 and I am hoping to move North to be closer to my grandson

Interests:
I work with Veterans groups, VietNow, AmVets and knit hats for Chemo patients. I LOVE to READ, COOK, and create recipes. I knit, sew and my passion is to decorate and generally rearrange my house often. Football, DaBears and the White Sox are my favorites, so the dogs and I eat lots of hotdogs [no pun intended] in the summer and I throw tailgate parties, even if it's only the dogs and I!!! Camping and hiking are way up on my list of great ideas for anytime. Stamping is something I love, but haven't done much of lately

Well, I started...

In my first entry I just typed and purged and oops, didn't proof read.  Oh well, the meat of the message is there.  It has been an awful, interesting and telling journey.  I learned lots and lots about myself.  Some I didn't like.  Some I would like to change, and some I am just going to keep because it's fun, annoying to others or intriguing.

I thought a lot about sharing this experience and my gut reaction in to keep it to myself.  This is not a side I me I want the world to know.  I want to be the strong and smiling go to person many think I am.  It's ok to share now.  I am on the road back.  The whole experience can be rolled into a few and telling paragraphs.  Then, it will be interesting to see where I go from here.

How is it going? My computer crashed, well, my dog crashed by trying to help me do a newletter...took a bit to get it back. I lost some info and two days worth of correspondence. Trying to make up for the lost time, but that never happens. Not only am I trying to get back to speed on the puter, but the house is in chaos. I am remodeling and trying to sort out almost 10 years of acummulated treasures! Some have to go! Hard to choose. Everything is a memory! We moved in here 10 years ago and I can't believe all the junk I've got. I swore when we packed up to move here I would never collect stuff again. We moved from a 5 bedroom Victorian and I got rid of everything, I thought! Well, I think I managed to collect it all back and this is a 2 bedroom, 1483 sq.ft home and I am at a loss as to where I ever got it all! Like I said, all memories.
Keep in touch, have a great weekend as well! I think mine will be spent in the closets and garage. I am determined to once again declutter!
