Background
Birthday: September 14
Gender: Female
Status: Divorced
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Religion: Christian/Catholic
Location:
Minnesota
United States
School:
I graduated from the Fergus Falls School District via Night Adult Education Classes in 11/1976, which was my best course of action. My oldest son was born 3/1976 & I was married to his father. (I've never been overly mature for my age, but have always acted my age.) You know how selfish teenagers can be! My class graduated 6/1976. I attended 10 1/2 mos. of vocational training for Nursing in the LPN Program at the Willmar Area Vocational Technical Institute from 2/82-4/83, I left the program with a Ct average & 26 1/2 credits & 55 Honor Points, (It was an Accredidated Program 88% was a Ct-as opposed to 70% in Non-Accredidated Programs) It is now referred to as Ridge Water College. I did so with 3 sons- 2 pre-schoolers & a 1st grader.
Work:
I began working at Jennie-O Foods in 7/91 (Now referred to as Jennie-O Turkey Store, A Subsidiary of Hormel Foods) in the the Live Hang & Kill Dept, I transferred to a Cooked Turkey Dept. in a different Plant in 9/93 where I have been packaging cooked turkey products since.
Hometown(s):
Fergus Falls, MN:Seattle, WA:Moorhead, MN:Deer River, MN:Breckenridge, Rural New London, MN-I remember my 2nd husband taking my car into Willmar to work. I remember wild farm dogs. I remember pulling my 3 sons in their Radio Red Flier Wagon 3 miles to the Sibley State Public Beach. I remember calling the New London Police Dept. after 10 PM & the MN Highway Patrol coming out, I slept with a baseball bat after hearing chanting at the Sibley State Park, (around the time Shriver Olson was found dead a few miles away!) as the New London Police Dept. closed at 10 PM. I remember Mike's St. Bernard puppy getting ran over by college students. I then got a German Sheperd/Collie by the name of TeddyBear 1 1/2 yrs. old from the Humane Society of F.F., MN- my mom & her boss(Carol Vollbrecht) at the F.F. State Hospital Regional Center picked him out for me (her boss was a volunteer at the Humane Society in F.F) I had to sign an agreement to have him neutered, which I did at a Vet in Spicer He whinned after that & I actually had to physically pick him up to get him in any type of vehicle after ! When I moved back to Willmar TeddyBear moved in with my dad & mom in the country. 14 years later he died from natural causes. My oldest son Cass , brought me a puppy, he brought his G-Pa the same puppy 1st, after Teddy Bear died & ended up taking it back to the Humanne Society in Pelican Rapids, as we are all Christians! MN:Spicer, MN: Litchfield, MN & I have resided in Willmar, MN most of the last 27 yrs.

Fergus Falls, Minnesota. I spent a week there one day. Late spring of 1969. I pointed my car (an MG) west from Detroit and just took off to go a far as I could in two weeks. On the third morning out I landed in Fergus Falls with a blown water pump. Thus I got to spend the day in Fergus Falls staring at four walls in a somewhat less than four star motel. The next day my car was towed to Moorhead, MN where it got fixed and I continued my trip. That was my experience in Fergus Falls. I do, however remember that there was a pretty decent resteraunt downtown

Jemart,

I could think of worse places to break down then F.F. (say a town with no hotels.) Maybe it was the Viking Cafe you ate at. It's been there ever since I can remember, the foods super good. There Also used to be places called the Normandy Cafe & Skogmo's, they had good food also.
F.F. was a good place to grow up, not much work there though. That's why I stay where I am, it's where my job is, not much else that keeps me here. Who knows maybe one of these i'll pack up & drive away & let the wind take me where it will!
You didn't say what you do for a living or are you retired?
Somehow the county I reside in hasd ended up in the direct path of most of the bad weather there has been in this area the last couple years. I moved to a sub-level apt. a few years ago, so am able to relax more then in the upstairs apt. I was in prior ro my move. (: Honestly storms scare me! That's why I miss having a boyfriend to hug when i'm scared!

Sincerely, Kay K. Stich

I beleive in your saying about living and my favorite saying from my high school days which was printed in the yearbook is " not to live at ease is not to live at all". I also agree wit what jim said about being 50. YOU LOOK Mauvolis ( Ricardo Montlebaun would agree)
