Thanks CBPoet! Good idea with the flag. Orange is like everyone else's. Maybe I'll get a wildcat and jayhawks flag for it, both, so I won't run the risk of offending the wrong people. LOL We have both KStaters and KUers in this neck of the woods. During football season, it could be dangerous to have one flag or the other on there. HA!

Janet you have to learn into really sharp turns but try not to make them. I use mine to run my dogs and you could not do that on a recumbunt. Both have advanatages though. Gat orange flag but add a College flag something to make it seem differnt so people pay attention

Do you use those a lot? How are they on turns? I was so terrified of tipping over and falling that I got a recumbent tricycle with slanted back wheels. It won't tip over easily at all, but my husband and daughter insisted I get an orange flag on it so I'd be seen, because it's fairly low.

But, I think the recumbents are harder to ride than the type you have, and I'm having second thoughts. On a recumbent, you have to push the peddle (SP) forward with your feet, and your weight can't go into it. On your type you can put weight into peddling.

Well, it's too late for second thoughts. When I bought mine, we weren't yet retired.

But just for future reference, how doe it turn? Any tipping problems?
