Satsuma tripod temple jar and cover. Piece is 37" high with a richly painted surface and high relief moriage work. We got this at an estate sale.

That is beautiful! I have one similar it but mine is a counterfeit I bought on... (ohboy)... and I was ssooo disappointed when I saw the off-centered glazing! But of course, you get what you pay for, right? I have a couple of small pieces of satsuma, and there is no mistaking the beauty of the real thing.
