I haven't been able to post on this Beta forum since (methinks) Thursday, May 8th. I was happily posting with my Firefox one minute, left the site briefly and when I returned, Firefox just wouldn't work here. Tried using a Fx plugin called IE View and could navigate all around the site but couldn't post. I finially tried IE 7.0 and it worked all right but when I attempted to reply to a message, the evil Explorer crashed time and time again.
Tonight I finially was able to use IE and post a reply message and start this Journal. My next goal is to post something here with my Firefox. The malfunction isn't a scripting problem like I first thought. It's something a lot worse. It's a good thing that the AARP development team is full of smart people. Those are enough thoughts for tonight. It's bedtime for Bonzo.
myrt,
It's taken a lot of people a lot of time to get the web site in the shape that it's in so that I couldn't post. So, I'd try one thing, drink some coffee, try another thing, play with the cat, try another thing, eat breakfeast and get cleaned up. Success with the evil Internet Explorer eventually came. Next comes Firefox.
Perseverence often pays. Nice to meet someone that patient. Everything is in the fast lane except all these new fangdangled electronics which are supposed to be pacesetters. How ironic.
