Interests:
I got married on July 28th ,2007 and so most of my once free time is spoken for. With what time that's left, my big interest is computers. I'm in a PC Users Group and read a number of technical publications, both electronic and paper. Another interest is the study of my heritage. I'm active in the Sons of Confederate Veterans, visit battlefields and other historical sites, and study documents from our past.

 I haven't been able to post on this Beta forum since (methinks) Thursday, May 8th. I was happily posting with my Firefox one minute, left the site briefly and when I returned, Firefox just wouldn't work here. Tried using a Fx plugin called IE View and could navigate all around the site but couldn't post. I finially tried IE 7.0 and it worked all right but when I attempted to reply to a message, the evil Explorer crashed time and time again.

Tonight I finially was able to use IE and post a reply message and start this Journal. My next goal is to post something here with my Firefox. The malfunction isn't a scripting problem like I first thought. It's something a lot worse. It's a good thing that the AARP development team is full of smart people. Those are enough thoughts for tonight. It's bedtime for Bonzo.

You had conversed with me regarding a "fence"... Wow what a battle...
Just wanted to send you a quick note and let you know that your adivse was invaluable to me and I did install a fence! It took me 1.5 years and way too much money, however it did improve my property value, keep the neighbors out of my yard, I have had a "garden party" without the teenage football players.

The neighborhood association is none too pleased with the fence, however I think it is the summer sunbathing that will get under their skin the worst! (lolllll)
