Barry Rand had the "Audacity of Hope" that he could get away with some clumsy deception. Holding "1.5 million letters of support for health care reform" he chose not to mention that the letters were not in support of the House Bill at issue. Those letters, representing a small fraction of the member ship, were cleverly designed to elicit "support for healthcare reform" and report it as support for the bill. He's in the wrong administration but the right venue.
We all support reform and the solicited letters disguising their purpose is no better than any other phony attempt to dupe seniors with some scam.
