Comment Codes GOD BLESS THE RED WHITE AND BLUE. Hello everyone I am a new widower. My wife recently passed away after a long fight with cancer. I am interested in communicating with people near my age of 68. I am a retired accountant that owned my own business, and my wife was a property manager. We moved to Florida to be with our grandkids. I enjoy dancing, watching movies, and football and baseball. I am also looking for some kind of employment to pass the time. I enjoy discussing anything and also meeting new people.

It's the 4th of July, an American holiday; was awoken last night to the fireworks; not sure if the fireworks woke me up or my dog crying. Lived in Florida during my wee years, but returned home to the north, like a homing pigeon. Spend my retirement doing medical transcription via the net to keep my mind sharp and make extra money and hospice volunteering for 2 agencies (VNA and a local hospital) which is a fantastic way to spend your free time, but, of course, none can compare with time spent with the grandchildren. My best wishes to you.

Thanks for your comment on our flag and the holder my husband built. He has his statue of Liberty out there too, but I didn't get a photo of that. Smiles, Pat

My son actually returning from Iraq right now, but after four tours, he supports our being there totally. We won in Viet Nam, but we let the press and minority destroy us. It's time the silent majority stands up and supports our military and our country. What can just one person do? Inspire millions more to stand up for what they believe.

Thank you for being an American with pride and character. My son and all his troops appreciate it! If you get time, adopt a soldier and write to him/her. I know from being over there that they appreciate it more than you know!

Best to you and your family!
Brenda
