Hi, Nancy, and Merry Christmas!
I haven't had much computer access since Friday, so please forgive me for not acknowledging your lovely message. I hope your day was as warm and bright as you are, and wish you a delightful, happy, and healthy New Year!

All best,

Carol

What's this "merry" stuff, mate?? Happy Christmas to you, too,
and have some plum pudding for me. (May your cracker have something
really wonderful inside!) alt="Photobucket" border="0" src="http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn80/JustMePhD/Christmasstocking.jpg">

Where will you be Christmasing, Mike? I wish I could come
home--there's something magical about Christmas in London--but at least
I will be in southern VA with my best friend and her family. (I swore
I'd never go back there, but she's bugged me every year since I left
about it, because I used to spend every Christmas with them . . . I
finally gave in.) Please don't spend Christmas alone, my friend--few
things in life are sadder than that. One way or the other, may Father
Christmas (who guards Mum's little 4' Christmas tree in my house this
year) bring you your heart's dearest desire! Happy Christmas, Carol

Hi Big Sis Carol,

How many Heineken's have you had ? Only 3....beers your whole life...wow ! Yes, I could imagine it could be hard to acquire the taste for beer. I remember when I first took a drink of a beer !! But, I don't drink alot anymore !!

Take care over there, and hope you have a very nice weekend (relaxing !).

Hugs from your lil bro...Michael

Thanks, Michael. The Heinekens are few and far between: I can tolerate them, when they're cold. but that's about it. Thanks for the good wishes re the weekend, Lil' Bro, and back atcha--with double the hugs! Please tell me you aren't going to be working on cars out in the cold (even if you are???)

Are you insinuating that I . . . oh, never mind. Guilty as charged. I made the turkey (which conveniently fell apart when I tried to take it out of the pan--but whaddya want, for $0.47/lb?? A pop-up timer???) It wasn't overdone, but I haven't had a meat thermometer for years, so I just guesstimated. Made it really easy to put away--I just tossed the bones--and they say you should do that anyway, now.

How was your Turkey Day, kiddo?
