My wife suffered a major stroke September 20, 2003................I have been there every step of the way............she no longer can walk or talk and I have had a feeding tube in her stomach for a couple of years.......................we have been married 28 glorius years................I left my pastorate in March of 2003 and she suffered her stroke in September...................because I couldn't work we eventually lost our house (long before this present crisis) in October of 2006..............my wife was definitely a kept woman I did her hair and nails and all of the cooking...............it was her job to clean up (any cook would appreciate that working relation)..............i bought her lingerie and her clothes.........she use to past out a business card that read in part, "Joan Ferrell, full-time housewife, soap-opera expert."    :0)     she has never had a bedsore on my watch and I get a smile every day, she is just 55 years old but encountered TTP in 1983 when she was 30 years of age................I am committed to her well being and will take care of her as long as God gives me breath...........in August of this year I celebrated 30 years in ministry (though I'm not to active now) and finally I have a picture of me holding my wife's hand on our TV (she is 2 years old at the time and I was 10 and I'm presently 63).  Soul mate I believe so.............thanks for the opportunity to talk about my  beautiful wife.....Peace
