There is a not-for-profit
group (http://www.angelfoodministries.com) Phone: 1-800-221-5689
that distributes discounted food through volunteers mainly at
participating local churches of all denominations. You should check
out their web site for further information and local sites. There
are no income requirements no forms to fill out about your financial
situation, no questions, you pay for the food and pick it up; it is
as simple as it can be; it is a hand up not a handout.
My wife and I started
using Angel Food about 4 or 5 months ago and we have saved at least
½ on our food bills in the process. This has enabled us to
eat better and ease our budget situation a lot in a short period of
time while improving our diet with extremely good food in the
meantime. I have recommended Angel Food to others in Indiana and
around the country and they report the same excellent results as we
have had with the food.
Check them out, save a lot
of money and recommend them to others, we do.
