I have over 25 years experience in the healthcare field. I mostly worked as a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist for many physician's offices and laboratories. I have also worked for a large Durable Medical Equipment Company as an Administrative Assistant to the CEO/Owner of a multi-million dollar company. Worked with JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) for this company that tested a perfect score. I enjoy working in healthcare in almost any field. Sometimes I feel I am age discriminated after an interview. But then, sometimes I have been told I am over qualified for some positions and others I am underqualified...when I look outside the box for a position, that is. What now?
