The picture was taken at a rendezvous in Northern California a few years ago. We are historical reenactors at Sutter's Fort. I recreated the outfits using paintings and written descriptions from the 1830's. On outings like this one, we camp and live as the mountain men did during the Rocky Mountain Fur Trade. I am also one of the blacksmiths at Sutter's Fort. If you're ever in Sacramento, come see us at the fort
