The moon was a silver sliver hanging over the valley last night as I came home from class. My heart sings whenever the moon looks as delicate. Then this morning the light at dawn also carried a silvery glow. Snaps & stock are vivd this morning, while hollyhocks & phlox are on the wane. So many plants are getting a second flush this year as the Fall has been mild and sunny.
I have a box of tulips, miniature daffodils, squills & other small bulbs waiting to get planted. I got some pure white tulips in town to go with the the pinks & purples. The imagining of early blooms in spring keeps the promise of renewal alive during the dark of winter. Last year, winter was quite cold and seemed very long.
A pile of firewood showed up yesterday while we were away. I bet Michael brought us a tree from his property as a gift. Wood at this time of year is the best gift! I will make sure he gets plenty of eggs once the girls start laying again.
One thing I wrote about yesterday that got deleted: With Chiron retrograde until the end of this month, along with Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus in Pisces both still retrograde, it is a most potent time for the wound to be revealed & felt. And with Mercury also in apparent backward motion, a re-assessment period is upon us. the pot is stirred! Our hopes, dreams, delusions all are up for examination. I am using this time for a recapitulation and as I see and feel what is being stimulated, see it as an opportunity to Let Go in further degree. I see, for myself, the most beneficial thing for me is to cut loose of as much conditioning as arises. My journey has required much letting go and I gladly welcome a life wtih less baggage of the ego and it's fear based reality.
