I am very moved by your story. It's so revealing, so spiritual. Once I started reading it I knew I had to go all the way, it kept my interest with every word. Thank you for writing it.

You made a comment on my dream images piece recently, and mentioned that perhaps I would benefit from seeing a spiritual director. You are Catholic as was my training, growing up. I must admit I lost respect for the church leaders because of the sex scandals and the lies of cover up that followed. I don't agree with a lot of what the church promulgates, but that doesn't deter my faith. For example, I looked forward to visiting the Vatican for many years, but when I got there and was at St. Peter's and saw the gold walls and marble everywhere, I felt it was an embarrassment of riches while people are starving around the world. Shouldn't the church set an example of charity and not greedy? This is the emotional block that stops me from returning to the church. I know I'm not alone in this.

Your writing is wonderful and I am eager to see more of it. Perhaps things are happening this way for you to begin writing professionally? You certainly have a lot of talent. Thanks. Marie
