Today the air is cool and the sun is bright.  My day is unplanned.  I have no appointments, no dates.  My significant other is at work, my son is at work and then has night college.  I can do anything I feel like doing, within reason, finances and my own morality.  I will stay in my pajamas until noon, then go outside on errands, and then probably come home, read, read,read and spend my time alone.  I could have called friends and family and suggested lunch, I could go to a movie.  I am free, but alone, and will feel alternately restless and lonely all day and evening, until my family returns later tonight.
