I was born in South Africa, graduated Electrical Engineer. I worked my way through college as a Double Bass player and vocalist playing in night clubs and doing Gigs.On graduating, I turned to music and became a professional jazz musician.I met my wife to be at a Jazz concert, after 2 years we got married and decided that I needed to get a proper job if we were going to have children, so, I went back into the electrical engineering world. As CEO of an Electrical Co, I was asked by the Canadian owners to close down the company because of their dislike of Apartheid and the boycott imposed on SA by the UN. On closure of the company in 1979, I was transferred to the UK as Marketing Manager for Europe.After 2 years I was transferred to Saudi Arabia,then Kuwait, France and Greece where I lived and worked for 5 years before I retired and we emigrated to the USA September 1996 My wife passed away Dec 2006 5 days before our 54th wedding anniversary and 17 days before Christmas, bad year! I became an American Citizen last year

I am interested in USA politics and what is happening around the world in general. I am an AARP tax aide volunteer during the tax season, 3days a week for about 14 weeks the rest of the time I try to help out where I can.I would like a part time job to fill in slack time Besides the above, I really Like People and they are my "no.1 interests"
