My friend that I work with has one at the shop, but he isnt game enough now days to fly it. There is another version of this same theme called a "Trike" that is very popular. Difference being the trike has a rigid wing made from fiberglass, and is fastened to a steel frame that has seats. The motor is bolted to the back of the frame and pilot and passenger dont have to run to get started, it has wheels. Its most commonly a beach toy for having fun at the beach and is easily trailered behind your truck. yeah, I like anything that flies. :)
Its called a "Powered parachute" and you strap the motor on your back. You steer with chords attached with the parachute. You take off with a running start and land on the run.
