I am 88 years old and have been married 3 times, widowed each time. I am in good health and busy, volunteer at a hospital in medical records where I worked at the age of 86, but married and moved to England. My husbad died in June of 2007 and I returned to the U.S. I live with my 71 year old daughter. I have had a busy and rewarding life, full of interest. Have held some very important jobs, returned to college at the age of 70 where I took 6 subjects and stayed on the Deane's List and assisted in the student's English help study. An avid reader, do several crafts, attend church, drive, cook and the usual housework.
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandson. I'm only just now reading about it but still want you to know you and your family are in our hearts and in our prayers for your loss
Appreciate your comments. Only now answering because my great-grandson was killed in Iraq and I have been in Texas with the family. Thank you for reponding.
Good for you! What a wonderful outlook you must have on life to have done so much and continue to do so much. Your an inspiration to those of us who think we're too old to go back to school or do anything else! God bless!
