About Me

I was born in Virginia, and raised there until I was 11. The coal mines had closed, and my fathers job had been eliminated. I will never forget the small town I grew up in, Berwind, actually was in West Virginia. Major culture shock then when we moved to Detroit. I hated it. Eventually I graduated from High School, and went to college in Kansas City, Missouri. Married a college classmate (BIG MISTAKE). I did have two boys from that marriage, and that was the only redeeming factor. I adore my sons. And I always will . ANYWAY, I'm married now, to my best friend. We've been together for 16 years. We're retiring in the near future. What an adventure! We LOVE Florida, have been there many times. Who knows???????? The winters are very harsh here. I would love to relax in a warm climate.

Interests:

I love to read, swim, snorkel, shop, see movies, travel ,hike, museums, you name it. I am a Literacy tutor. I adore children, and I teach whenever possible. I go to church regularly.
