About Me

I grew up in Maine, but the Army brought me to Texas and Washington State for a short time and now I'm back in Maine. I'm a veteran of the first Gulf War. I have always wanted a career working to make life better for everyone and have held a special connection with the older population. For many years I worked with Maine's Long Term Care Ombudsman Program and enjoyed every minute of it. I've been with AARP for almost 3 years now and love it! As the Director of Community Outreach I'm able to continue my passion for helping others and still have a connection with everyone from my previous elder advocate life. My favorite part of my career is working with the many dedicated, caring volunteers. They are amazing people. I live in Central Maine with my wife of 19yrs and 17 year old son. Oh, and of course my little pug Lexi and my large black lab, Hunter

Interests:
I love most anything outdoors in the woods. Hiking, ATV Riding, Camping, Fishing, Gold Panning and enjoying Mother Nature's creatures. I also enjoy video games and jamming with my son while he plays guitar and I play drums. I also enjoy learning new things that enhance my ability to help others

Hi I am an Air Force Veteran trying to sell a product to the VA hospitals. It has to with automated appointment reminders. I get two notices prior to my appointments and that is pretty expensive. If the VA just gets rid of one of those mailings and send an automated call instead they would save millions. Check out my website at www.callspider.com. Any guidance will be appreciated. I am also willing to share the profits if we can get into the VA hospitals. Here are some of the benefits: HIPPA Compliant, No additional infrastructure or bandwidth required, eliminates phone lines used for appointment reminders, and much more. We are also about to sell this service on an individual basis, but I feel the VA should offer this as a benefit to the Veterans. My other website is trscheckplus.com but we are still under construction.

Thank you
