I am so glad that things do not ever stay the way they are. As time goes on and I am able to connect with loving , caring, intelligent friends, my pain of loss is beginning to diminish. I know that my late hubby is in a better place and I know he wanted me to go on with life and not just exist. Talking with others in the groups, whether they are widowed, divorced or have been single for years, I find that we are all the same. We are lonely and longing for that love of our life again. Wanting to be held and feel that closeness is universal. Being able to discuss things in a nonthreatening environment has sure helped me a lot. The more I listen to others and talk to you , the better I feel. I still have bouts with tears, but it is not quite so overpowereing any more, thanks to you!
