I'm a self employed training consultant doing corporate training in our area (my own business - Training Focus), and my husband, Bob, is an Architectural Designer by trade (Thornapple Design Co)... but a motorcycle rider by passion. He always felt guilty taking off from our business to go riding in the spring, summer, fall.. so we started a touring business offering full packages that include lodging, meals, attractions, and tours (Canyon Vista Motorcycle Tours). We now have our own web site at www.canyonvistamotorcycletours.com. It's been a fun experience for both of us. I book rooms, set up the meals, market the business, keep the books and he leads the rides and tells lots of stories about the area.
Interests:
My personal interests are reading, writing, teaching, traveling and riding with Bob on his Honda Goldwing (It's the most comfortable of his many bikes for me to ride on). Bob and I also are National staff members for the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) and travel to events about 8 times a year to help put them on. We have 4 grandchildren, so they are high on our "sports, hobbies and volunteer work" lists. We both volunteer for community activities... chamber, economic development, tourism, etcMy Photos (4)
