I would like to find information and details about any LEGITIMATE "work at home" job opportunities - not any scam jobs that are posted on telephone poles or on the internet. I love keyboarding/typing and wonder about medical transcribing, data entry, etc. Any thoughts from anyone?

Hi there...I just joined the rank of unemployed "again" last week. I'm 60 and looking for. ?. you asked about work from home, two that I can definitely say are worthy of your attention are Alpine Access and HireMyMom.com. I've joined/applied with both, haven't had any luck yet, but hey, it's only be a few days!. HireMyMom is a bid for work site, costs $29 to join fo 6mo. Alpine is your employer, you work from home as a customer service rep. Try them both, see what you think. Medical transcribing is great but they all seem to want that impossible detail to come by, "experience". But try it, you never know. As for me, I keep reinventing myself but pretty soon, I won't be able to recognize who I am.
Good luck.

I am 60, retired, (too early), and COBRA is draining me. I have the exact same concerns and interests as you. I notice there have been no replies. Doesn't anyone out there have any LEGITIMATE information?

Hi everyone, just found a website called www.wiserworker.com and I think you should check it out if you are in the Job Market. It is good to see that people are starting to notice that we Baby Boomers are valuable to the workforce. After all we do make better employees.

I recently attended a forum called "Discovering What's Next," and the keynote speaker was Brian Kurth, author of "Test-Drive Your Dream Job." He is the founder/president of Vocation Vacations. Google the key words and tons of hits come up. It's worth looking into, especially if a new, fulfilling career is on your mind.
