About Me

I am a 47y old woman with a wonderful husband, two great children and 1 grand daughter. I am a servent for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who gave up His life for me. I am so blessed, the Lord is so wonderful. I read my bible just about every night so when I fall asleep I have God's word on my mind. I still have a long way to go to be doing everything I should do for the Lord. He gave me His life and I am a work in progress and will stay that way until Jesus comes for His church

Once Saved Alway Saved

 

Once Saved Alway Saved

That is the question, People believe that once you get saved you will always be saved no matter what. Most churches today tell you that all you have to do is say a little prayer and then you are saved. Being saved is a gift from God so it can never be taken away from you. There is so many people out there that believe that they are saved and going to heaven that will be in a big suprise when they find theirself in hell. I do not mean for this to sound bad, but it really is. I hope people see this as a wake up call for their soul. I am not a great writer and I do not know a lot of big words to make what I am saying sound impressive. You see the once saved always saved in not true for alot of people. Let me explain: People believe that they are saved because they said a prayer once, but that is far from the truth. When you say a prayer asking God into your life you have to believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, and rose again on the third day and now sits at the right hand of the father. Romans 10:9&10- If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.10) For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. If you did not believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord that He died for your sins and rose on the third day when you said your prayer then you need to say it again. Please do not take what I am saying in the bad way because you might not have been told you had to believe, you could have misunderstood what it all means, even satan could had gotten in the way. How can you tell if you are saved ????? You become a new creature, all old things pass away. You will have a new heart and the desirer to do God's will. I am not saying that you will be perfect, what I am saying is that God changes your heart and it will take time. You will not change over night, but you will change. Yes you will still sin, but you will also know that what you done was a sin against God and you will ask God to forgive you and you will do your best to not do that sin again. We all have sined and fall short of the glory of God. That is why Jesus died on the cross, so we can go to Him and ask for forgiveness, and the blood that He shed gives us that forgiveness. Please if you have any dout about your salvation say a pray to Jesus and believe. If you are truely saved then no one or nothing can take away the gift of eternal life. So I guess then the once saved always saved comes into play for you because you will have Jesus in your heart and you will want to do His will
