My New SMART Passion!6 MORE WEEKS OF WINTER??
It is hard to believe today, that we are to have 6 more weeks of winter. It is a beautiful sunny day here. Temp is in the mid 60's and wind is barely blowing, if at all. I love days like this, when you can sit outside and let your worries and care float away. Certainly don't want to be in the house today! Maybe I could move my computer out on the porch!!
Tomorrow I have to travel north again. My Mom is in hospital, and my brother is going home tonight or in morning early. We try to take turns at that sort of thing. I had planned on waiting until she came home and spend a couple of days, but plans have changed. My son has surgery scheduled for Friday morning, and will be in hospital for 3 to 5 days, so will be here for his surgery, and after that....just have to see. I will probably return to my Mom's over the weekend, if he is doing okay.
My dogs love this weather, they are tired of being cooped up in the house! I am gonna make mexican chicken casserole tonight, just can't wait. Well, folks, I gotta get up and get clothes packed, and do a few things in the house, then I am headed to the porch! Come sit with me, and we'll have a glass of iced tea (it is warm enough) or a coke or Dr Pepper, or even a glass of water. Your choice, we can sit on the porch and tell "tales of yesterday". Doesn't that sound great! Come on over!
With our high temperature yesterday, February 4th., not reaching above freezing here in Middle Tennessee the invite to sit with you on your sunny porch sound very appealing. Our temperature is suppose to reach 65 degrees here on Saturday and Sunday and I'll be enjoying the sunshine on my front porch!!
