Hi Pam,

I love animals but I cannot devote enough time forthem so I am waiting until the "R" day. I do believe they need attention and love and until I can provide that for them enough then I will wait until that time. I still will always help the strays that seem to pop up at my door step.......that's me!!!
Well, take care & will chat with you soon

Hi Shelly!
Yes, I am an animal lover, too. I used to have a little Peke-a-poo that was like my shadow...she was like a child to me. I was devastated when she died a few weeks before her 13th birthday. So I have not had another pet. Then, a few years ago, one of my nrothers became disabled & came to live with me & my Mom. He brought his cat, who was 11 at the time & who he'd had since he was a kitten. He is very shy & not very affectionate...kind of a loner. But I really enjoy having him around, and with a lot of work, he now accepts me...he comes to me for food, and he'll even sit on my lap occasionally. He is 13 and a half now, but hopefully he'll still be with us for many years! Maybe I will post a picture of him in my Photos section. Take care & stay warm...15 degrees here right now! ~ Pam

Hi Pam,
For the are I live in, the weather was soooooooo cold and with some rain part of our East Texas area got some snow. I did not get to see it but a friend at work said her lawn was covered and several other people in the city got snow...............we rarely see that "white stuff" so we make a big deal out of it. I know if we were in another area where there was too much we would be wanting to give in a warmer climate. I like the sping and fall months but the summers here are "HOT". Too warm for me so I stay indoors a lot. But that it what one goes through in the area they choose to live in.
Glad to hear from you, stay warm and talk to you soon

Hi Shelly,
I got both your messages, but I wonder if you ever got mine from a day or so ago? It doesn't show up here, either...maybe I have to look a little harder. My computer and/or AOL has been acting up lately, I think it's almost time for a new one! Oh, here's the cat, I better see what he wants. Have a good week!

Hi Shelly!
Things are OK here, thank you. It is pretty cold now, but we also had about 6" of new snow on Wednesday. So that is a pain, but at least now I don't have to drive to work in it! But I can't WAIT for the weather to get warmer. Glad to hear it's getting more pleasant in your neck of the woods!

Stay warm, Pam
