Wow! That is amazing! I know security was tight, but I didn't realize it affected traffic so much or work hours! Have a great weekend... are you going anywhere? Our son is having a surprise retirement party for my hubby. It is so hard to keep things a secret from the man you've lived with for 36 years!!! People on his route have been so sweet with cards, gift cards and bakery goods! We are both very touched by their kind words and their generosity. I picture you on a trail somewhere this weekend with your hubby doing his thing at a stream. Safe weekend!
It was a big hulabaloo but we live in the northern suburbs and Jim was working odd hours so he didn't have to deal with any of the highway closures. I was surprised at how many of our family and friends got some extra time off work (or took the time off) because of the traffic mess and security issues to get into their offices!
So kind of you! (I tried to put a title to the pic and a comment to explain, but it would not let me do it!) Yes, those are my sibs. Don't know what I'd do without them. Great night! Are you glad the convention is over? Was it close to you? I really enjoyed it, but I thought about you and if it was affecting you
