About Me

Just a typical Cowboy in a Cosmopolitan Setting.... I choose my battles very carefully...take life as it comes and am kind and respectful to all. I will read anything that is written...volunteer for anything worthwhile and have absolutely no time for people who don't have a sense of humor. I love to play, tease and joke around. I am never mean or cruel or hide hurtful words under the guise of being playful. If I have something to say, it is direct and honest. I believe that Love...good Love, is in great demand and short supply. So, if you are capable of loving...and not everyone is... it doesn't matter whom you love....as long as you do...Love. I am a very self-contained individual. I enjoy my own company...have absolutely no problem being alone... and entertain myself very well. I am not...nor have I ever been into the Bar Scene. Don't Drink or Drug and have very little time for those who do. There are 3 things that I truly love: Hearing a Child laugh...Listening to the Elderly re-live their glory days... and watching Horses run full gallop. There are 3 things that can let my evil genie out of the bottle: The abuse of a Child...The abuse of the Elderly...and The Abuse of Animals. I don't care to spend time with people who knows "EVERYTHING" and who is "NEVER" wrong about anything. This kind of insecurity is nauseating. I have a serious problem with people who fore go what is right for what is easy. Betrayal to me is about the same as being kicked in the face by a spooked Horse. The pain eventually goes away...but the emotional disfigurement is forever embedded...and the trust can rarely be established again. Prefer intimate conversations as opposed to "just talking". I live and operate in a "DRAMA FREE" zone. No Games...Bigotry or Vicious Gossip. Negativity in any form is never welcome here. I am a good-natured guy...playful to no end...who will probably die laughing

Interests:
Horses...Physical Fitness...Movies...Tennis...Reading...On-Line Games...Water-Skiing...Softball...Intimate Conversations...Darts...Pool...Bowling...Power Walks...Archery

My Journals (1)

In a few days, America will become what it has billed itself to be for well over 200 years. The American Dream will no longer be a concept but a reality. Barack Hussein Obama will be the 44th President of the United States of America...and the 1st African-American as leader of the most powerful Nation on the planet.

For 20 months, I worked tirelessly on behalf of Barack, with a "knowing" that he would be the "one".
This was my first venture being this involved in the political process. I gave it all I had and my efforts paid off. I believe in my heart that Barack has what it takes to turn this Country in the direction that is not only inclusive of every race and face but to strengthen the ties with every Nation on the planet...something that previous administrations have fallen short on.

It is my sincere hope that being a Man of Color, Barack will not only heal the war abroad but will also heal the most important war...the one at home. He is a symbol and role model for Black Men to break the cycle of institutionalized powerlessness as Men...Fathers & their place in the world.
He is a role model for Men of all races to become more present in their children lives. I think he has the ability to remove the invisible boundaries of "roles" within the family unit and allow the individuals involved to define "their" marriage on their own terms...not by some antiquated law that define marriage and perspective roles.

Having met Barack several times in my campaigning for him, there is a genuineness and approachability unlike anyone I have met. He is one with you when he is with you. He is funny, smart, intelligent and very playful. He is exceptionally charismatic. However, it is not something that is put on...it is something that comes out.

I am very proud of this Man and feel extremely blessed to have made my contribution and to see this day come to fruition.
There is so much I can say about this Man and what he means to me personally and the indelible mark I am sure he will make on this Country.

So, join me in the celebration of this remarkable Man...not only in his Presidency...but as a Black Man's ascension to a station of respectability and vision for all of mankind....

What a very nice profile..there is something to be said about those who still care about people...and you are a rare jewel in this world filled with so many self absorb people who have lost sight of what it is to give a helping had to those who are in need or even stop to take the time to hear a wonderful story from an elder...hat off to you for your kindness toward those who sometimes can't help themselves. Keep up the wonderful work:)
