Well I did make it back from the train trip.  I have been amiss in letting everyone know.  Sorry.  Life got carried away with one problem after another upon my return.  Anyway........

The trip was quite an adventure.  I saw some awesome country, will try to post some pictures.  I seemed to have attracted some strange characters and made friends with some wonderful people.  The countryside was totally beautiful and very hard to have the proper words to describe.  I went through gorgeous mountains, snow, rain, sunshine, desert, prairie, salt flats, river bottoms, etc.  I saw the infamous "redneck fairy ring", I will post a picture of it.

I enjoyed the trip except for my tailbone, it really got bruised by the bumping of the train and the bar that went in that area from the seat. Yes, I used a pillow there also, LOL.  But, it took months for it to feel better.

I think I took almost 4,000 pics of the country and my family put together.  Was a wonderful visit with the family and got to talk with some classmates that I have not seen in awhile.

Maybe, I will get a "story" put together later, it keeps churning in my mind. Ha.

Hi Sassy,
So how did the trip go? I want to see some of those pictures. I want to take a train trip one day, sometime around the time the Gathering of Nations will be going on so I can jump off and stay the weekend for that and then jump back on and see some more of the US. I can't imagine what it is like in the East. Just like some folks back east think there are still those of us living in tipis! LOL

I keep trying to add photos from the trip, but can never seem to get them to download. I have a bunch posted on my Facebook page if you are interested.
How are things with you? What have you been up to? I did see a tipi on the trip the only picture that did load. LOL. Hope all is ok with you. Love to hear from you soon

I did not know you were on Facebook! So am I, and there are a few friends beginning to pop up every once in a while. I'm wondering how we can connect!
