About Me

Roger Anunsen is a co-founder of mindRAMP & Associates, LLC and creator of MemAerobics, a clinically proven cognitive intervention program based in Oregon, and works with AARP's Staying Sharp program as a consultant. MemAerobics programs and courses incorporate Mr. Anunsen's "hands-on" experience as an activity director where he learned from elders and engaged aging minds with the latest breakthroughs from neuroscience. His non-computer cognitive intervention programs have been "jump starting" older brains since 2000. His latest project is the Brain Wellness Series that offers weekly educational sessions designed to "jump start" participants awareness of the undeniable opportunities for older learners who are empowered with a fact-based understanding of the potential of the aging brain. Roger will be conducting a radio broadcast demonstration pilot of his 12-part Brain Wellness Series in collaboration with the MindAlert Award-winning Senior Center Without Walls program in Oakland, CA. Mr. Anunsen was appointed as a voting delegate to the 2005 White House Conference on Aging and has presented at numerous conferences throughout the country including the Joint Conference of American Society on Aging and the National Council on the Aging in 2006, 2007 and again in March, 2008 in Washington, DC.
