My son-in-law taught 17 mo. old Elias how earplugs work so when he was eating mini-marshmallows he remembered how those spongy earplugs felt and decided that the marshmallows must have been the same thing!
Ewwwww! Actually, I think Lia might have tasted these ones before they went in because his Mom said it took awhile to get the gooey mess cleaned out. I love this picture because of that mischevious smile, he knows a good joke when he makes one!
I used to have to wear those things when I was running the punch presses, and come to think of it, they do feel rather similar. But take my word for it, they don't taste the same. But then after being in my ear, marshmallows don't taste near as good either
