4 February 2010 - under a thin blanket of snow
I really don't have time to write today. We have been poring over the list of RV Care-a-Vanner Builds for this year and trying to envision the summer ahead. I don't know what the future holds but if things stay calm around here we may sneak away for another two week Habitat for Humanity build somewhere nearby this summer. In the meantime we'll have to settle for wonderful memories of great people, good laughs and hard work. It was worth every minute!

Jackson, Wyoming ~ Fall 2006 ~ A friend took this shot of the second story work. That's Jim on the high ladder!

Jackson, Wyoming ~ Fall 2006 ~ Team Leader, Charlie on our first day of our first build with the Habitat for Humanity RV Care-a-Vanners

Jackson, Wyoming ~ Fall 2006 ~ If you compare the previous photo to this one you can see what 2 weeks and a dozen volunteers can accomplish on a Habitat house. You might also be able to understand why Jim and I LOVE building with the Care-a-Vanners!

Jackson, Wyoming ~ Spring 2007 ~ Our favorite team leader is an incredible photographer and a great volunteer named Charlie. He calls this "We do Windows" and I call it "The Girl who Sounds Like a Cowboy when she Walks" (I LOVE my toolbelt!)
