Dear Ram,
Thanks for the encouragement. I went for a hike today (4 hours) and gee that sure clears the head and lifts the spirit. And when I say lifts the spirit I mean that literally. This area seems so spiritual. Some of the vistas can really help a person see what a small yet critical part of this, and many other levels of awareness, they are. I believe just south of here at the end of the Sangre de Christo Mountain Range there is an area that is spiritually very important to many Indian tribes of the southwest.

I am trying to figure out just how I am going to live in this beautiful valley. Once my house sells in Wichita, KS everything should be OK. It has been on the market for 4 months and has not sold which is delaying the construction loan. In the mean time I am living in a rental on 80 acres in a 3,000+ square foot for small rent so I guess I should count my blessings, which I do.

Thanks again it mean a lot to hear from others. I like that car commercial on TV that plays ELO's "Hold on Tight to Your Dreams".

Hi Ron:

I love that song, "Hold on Tight to Your Dreams". Every time I hear it I can't help but sing it. Colorado is a beautiful part of the planet. I visited Colorado Springs a few times and loved it.

Remember...one wall at a time.

Hi RAM,

Thanks for responding to my journal. My reply is a bit late, but I am still trying to find how this site works.

Hey...you are doing fine. Actually, this site is a bit clunky so hang in there.

You will survive. It is so difficult being divorced as there haven't been any positive replacements for him. I have made my own way finding activities I like taking care of myself and even forging a new relationship with my ex.We email Monday thru Thursday from his job. (Iwork at night). We still have the kids you know.
The hard thing for me is finding a job that pays me enough to live on.Fortunately the best thing my Mom taught me is to be wise with my money.
It helps.
Get involved in as many activities as you can and find new friends. Finding conversation is a must.
I'm sorry your heart breaks.
There just aren't any securities in life any more.
