Thanks for coming by and commenting. Yes, I do feel blessed with all my grands. The problem is that there are so many that we cannot do all we would like to do for them financially. We said from the beginning that we would not play "favorites". Of course, now that most of them are older, there is a lot of teasing. They will each come up to me and say "Mimi, you may say you don't have favorites, but between you and I, I KNOW I am your favorite!!"
You have plenty of time for grandchildren. It seems like younger couples nowadays wait a while before having children. I had both of mine by the time I was 21. And each of my sons had their first babies 10 months after they each were married. I was gramma (Mimi) for the first time when I was barely 42. I loved being a gramma when I was still young. We just had our 13th, and I cannot do all the things at age 67 that I could with the first one, that is for sure.
