we have 2, male and (spayed) female. the female is half rat terrier, and half small bone treeing walker. so she is big boned, but not very tall, she is currently on a "diet" because we have spoiled her and let her eat too much. the male eats so much and quits, so far we have never seen her quit eating. (guess that may be the hound in her) Anyway, she is so sweet, and has slept in our bed since she was 5 weeks old. The male is very sweet too, but he was about 8 months old when we got him, and had been mistreated. But he has come around and is very loving, just a little headstrong sometimes, about going or doing what he wants. they are (male)7 and (female) 6 years (unless i have miscalculated) They are our "babies"
I just looked at your photos and see why you wrote. The dog on the couch has the same exact coloring as my dog. The only difference is the ears. (We sometimes call her a cow because her coloring is just like a Holstein's!)
Only the one in sepia is mine--the other I got off the web. She is a small beagle mix that we found at the pound. We refer to her as a "beaglette" :-) She's quite adorable and always a pleasure.
Thanks for the compliment! How many rat terriers do you have? (We used to have a border terrier mix---this one has the opposite personality)
