i do 10-20 min of treadmill at 2.2-3.1 speed.......what do you consider moderate speed? i cannot run since my stroke but as long as i have something to hold on to i can walk pretty fast.........if it bothers my hip i slow down or stop.

lol.you can tell i am not really into the true fitness regimen as i have no idea what you are talking about in your journal.however i do believe in eating healthy and exercising.i am at present exercising at a local rehab and work out an average of 2 hours + a day to stay fit and lose a few pds..i have arthritis in knees, hips, shoulders so i really do better with recumbabt excercises but i do leg presses, and use some macines that are for arm ,abs and use pulleys.i have only started feb 25 and have lost 7 pds......but already i feel better.zumba sounds like fun and if not for arthritis i think i'd like it.the only dancing i've done was line dancing and the couples dances and i did that long before i started living healthier. i am 64 and those at the rehab say i amaze them so i must be doing something right.can you list some simple exercises or weight lift exercises that i could do at home? thanks for being here for us.and good luck to all.
