Hi I am Obietta,
What about me. Well, I 'll be 62 in September. I went to Merritt Community College when I left Oakland Tech. Met the man of my dreams, J.F. Elizondo. Went to work part-time at the Post Office to pay for college. He went to Viet-Nam. we got Married when he returned. Had 3 daughters - Christina. Teresa and Anastasia. Got divorced after 14 years. I still believe the problems had to do with post-traumatic stress syndrome. I had to choose Drama or my Children. I chose my children. I now have two grandchildren, Daniela and Josue. I have one cat that is mine and I have inherited a cat and two dogs from my children whom I baby sit. I haven't remarried, but I'd love someone to share my life with who'd be willing to explore this life with a crazy, fun and I hope intriguing lady.
I have worked at the Peralta Community College district, and California State University, Hayward (now East Bay) in the EOP department from which I retired.
I studied Acting and Writing. Interned at KPIX, worked and volunteered at Oakland Ensemble Theatre, had my own radio show, Peralta Insight, for 5 years on Kjaz through The Peralta District Office.I have some illnesses that come with age and heredity, but they only challenge me to improve my life.
I am still growing and learning and finding out about myself. Although I have found much I am still seeking and hoping to find more.
Interests:
i am now a Licensed Minister (Metaphysical). I have studied Spirituality for over 30 years. My intention is to perform Marriage Ceremonies, Bless babies, hold workshops, teach, etc. So much still to do. I love theater, music, spiritual matters, reading, hanging out with my firends and my extended family from my ex I want to learn ballroom or some kind of dancing. I used to love to dance.
