I live in the hill country of southwestern Virginia and love to climb those hills. (My profile picture was taken atop one of the hills overlooking the town of Saltville.) I sort of retired in 2003 at age 55. I say "sort of" because I didn't like staying at home, so I went back to work at a retail store in Abingdon, Va. as a stock clerk. The pay is about a fourth what I was making before retirement, and the work is much harder physically, but I like the hard work and it keeps me in pretty good shape..... My hobbies are reading, writing, drawing, playing golf and basketball, and photography. My wife and I are both members of the Art Depot in Abingdon. Some of our works will be featured in a "show" at the Art Depot in August, 2009.
