I am a 62-year-old widow with two grown daughters, four grandsons, and a brand new little great-granddaughter. I love to travel but still work full-time. However, I?m retiring on December 31 and hope to do some traveling next year. I am the primary caregiver for my 86-year-old mother-in-law so any plans I make must be geared to her health problems and whether or not my brother-in-law will fill in for me so I can travel.

In the future I will be moving to Lakeland, Florida, near my younger daughter and her family. Right now I live in the high desert of Southern California (northern Kern County). My older daughter lives in my hometown, Ridgecrest, as do her two younger sons. Her oldest son, and my little great-granddaughter, live in Stockton. My family is my life right now, especially the two youngest, my great-granddaughter and my five-year-old grandson in Lakeland. But I love to travel, especially going on cruises. My late husband and I went on almost twenty cruises together and I?ve been on an additional four cruises with others. I am always looking for someone to share my cabin with to save money.

I could be convinced to share my cabin with a gentleman, as long as we have gotten to know each other and agree on the ground rules in advance. I?m not a prude but I have not dated at all since losing my husband. We were happily married for over 38 years. In other words, I haven?t dated anyone other than my husband in over 40 years! I don?t know that I can remember how to have a relationship with anyone other than my husband, or that I would even be interested in such a thing! I do have some very good gentleman friends, however.
Would love to know more about you also.
