I'm a cancer survivor; just completed treatment in December, and am waiting for the beautiful curly hair that's supposed to replace what I once had. I didn't get the tummy tuck, boob job or weight loss that sometimes comes with cancer, but I wake up every morning and feel good, so I'm grateful for that. When the chemo braid goes away, I'll feel a lot better and more in control.
We have a 16-year-old granddaughter who has lived with us all of her life and is a high school junior. She's a dancer, gymnast, actor, and model, makes decent grades and has never been a behavior problem. She's also the lieutenant this year on the the high school dance team. I have a 24-year-old granddaughter that I also raised. I have enrolled a child in school for 39 consecutive years. Those chairs don't get any bigger but the teachers seem to get younger every year!.
Interests:
I'm usually running around with a bunch of teenagers but occasionally get a chance to read, sew, travel, dance or visit with friends. My granddaughter and I do some crafts together, also.
